Educational Visits
Educational visits are a fantastic opportunity for children of all ages to experience off-site school education.
Due to fatal accidents that have happened during educational visits the government are have to tighten the rules on educational visits and have introduced compulsory risk assessments.
Teachers or somebody in an authority position must visit the educational visit site and carry out the risk assessment before the educational visit takes place. Although this does increase the work load of the teachers who are involved in organising the educational visit, it is all worth it in the end, when you see the benefits (as listed on our school trips page) your students gain from an educational visit.
